"Oetscher"
To catch this moment (when the wind blew the snow away from the tree
like powder), my father had been waiting for 4 hours. After this he was
frozen to the ground and covered with a 2 cm thick skin of ice and snow.
Fortunately he always carries a mobile phone with him, so he was able to call
for help. My mother rescued him with a battery-driven hair dryer ;-)
Have you read Tolkien´s "Lord of the Rings"?
I think, if ENTs existed, they would look like this ....
